The pay for this position is only $12/hr and the responsibility for this 'job' FAR outweighs the compensation given.
Again, depending on the manager, rules only apply to those that are not in their 'clique'. Some cashiers stare at patrons without any greeting whatsoever, or continue to play on their computer rather than assisting patrons, and this is deemed ok.for that particular person.but not for others. Promotions are given to those that are 'liked' and not necessarily to those that are truly deserving due to their diligence and hard work. A terrible culture that continues to foster a negative attitude amongst cashiers and bankers alike. Absolutely no forgiveness with any mistakes made. Try to correct the issue by empowering the employee, not by tearing them down is what I say. Morale is terrible, and this management group seems to rather enjoy writing up their staff rather than training or retraining us when we make mistakes. When he does exit his new office, he only smoozes with the patrons, and doesn't even acknowledge his cashiering staff. Player Services Management lacks consistency and the top Manager is hardly seen.
